Did You Know?

Dr. Richard E. Fuller’s mother began collecting snuff bottles and ceramics in New York, where the family lived, and Europe. Like his mother, Dr. Fuller was particularly drawn to small collectibles. Dr. Fuller's fascination with three-dimensional objects (Chinese jades, Qing dynasty funerary figures, jade carvings, snuff bottles), formed the basis of the collection he donated to the Seattle Art Museum.
